About this release
Office 2019 Professional Plus is the perpetual licence release, which is the reason it stays popular long after newer versions ship. It installs once, runs offline, and does not check a subscription state before letting you open a document. For a machine that needs a stable office suite and nothing else, that behaviour is the whole appeal.
The suite covers the full set. Word for documents, Excel with the modern function library including dynamic array functions, PowerPoint with morph and designer, Outlook for mail and calendar against Exchange or IMAP, Access for local databases, and Publisher for simple layout work. File formats are the current ones, so documents move between this and newer releases without a conversion step.
Deployment is handled by the bundled configuration, which is the part that usually trips people up with volume releases. The installer here is prepared so you pick your architecture and language, run it, and end up with a working suite rather than a half configured click to run cache. Both 32-bit and 64-bit payloads are present in the same package.

Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.
- Remove any previous Office installation using the official removal tool.
- Disconnect from the network before you start.
- Extract the archive to a short path such as C:\Setup.
- Run the setup file matching the architecture you want, 64-bit unless you need old add-ins.
- Wait for the installer to finish and close on its own.
- Open Word once, close it, then reconnect to the network.
System requirements
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11 |

Things worth knowing
- Mixing architectures across Office products on one machine will fail, pick one and stay with it.
- If a subscription version was previously installed, the removal tool is not optional.
- Block automatic updating if you want the activation state to stay exactly as installed.

What people are saying
Deployed to four office machines with the silent script. No hand holding needed.
The removal tool step matters. Skipped it once and the install died halfway.
Excel power query works properly here, which is what I actually needed.
