The terms that govern use of this site, what the catalogue provides, and the limits of what is warranted.
1. Acceptance
By using this site you accept the terms set out on this page. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. These terms apply to every page of the index, including listings, the forms and any part of the site reached without following a link from within it.
2. What the index provides
This site is a catalogue. It records information about desktop software titles, including version data, package sizes, platform and language coverage, installation notes and mirror status. The catalogue is provided for reference. No warranty is given that any entry is complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site in a way that interferes with its operation or with anyone else's use of it. That includes automated retrieval at a rate that places an unreasonable load on the service, attempting to gain access to parts of the service not intended to be public, and submitting content through the forms that is unlawful, abusive, or designed to disrupt the service.
4. Accuracy of listings
Entries are checked when they are catalogued and rechecked afterwards, and each listing shows how recently that happened. Despite that, information becomes out of date, versions are superseded and mirrors stop responding. Entries are provided as they stand at the time you read them, and you are responsible for confirming that a listing is suitable before acting on it. Corrections can be reported through the contact page.
5. Submissions through forms
When you submit a message or a request through a form on this site, you confirm that you are entitled to send what you send, and you grant permission for it to be stored and used for the purpose it was sent for. Do not submit confidential information through the forms. What is stored is described on the privacy page.
6. Availability
The site is provided on an as available basis. It may be unavailable at any time, for maintenance or for reasons outside anyone's control, without notice and without liability. Individual mirrors may be unavailable while the rest of the site is running normally, and the status shown on a listing reflects the most recent check rather than the present moment.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it, including loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. The version published on this page is the one in force, and continued use of the site after a revision is acceptance of the revised terms. Substantive changes are noted on the about page when they are made.
