About this release
Acrobat Pro is the difference between viewing a PDF and working on one. Text in an existing document becomes editable in place, with reflow across paragraphs, font matching against what is embedded, and image replacement without exporting to another application first. For documents where the source file is long gone, that is the only practical route.
Conversion runs both directions. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files come in with their structure intact, and a PDF exports back out to those formats with tables and lists preserved rather than flattened into text boxes. The OCR pass turns scans into searchable, selectable text, with language selection and a choice between preserving the scan image or replacing it with clean text.
The rest of the application is the production work that offices actually run on. Form fields with validation and calculation, redaction that removes the underlying content instead of drawing a black box over it, page organisation and combining, side by side document comparison with a change report, preflight for print handoff, and signature request workflows with an audit trail.

- Signature workflows with request tracking and an audit trail
- Password and permission controls, plus certificate based encryption
