Installation notes

Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.

1. Disconnect from the network before you start.
2. Turn off real time protection for the duration of the install.
3. Extract the archive to a short path such as C:\Setup.
4. Run the installer as administrator and select the toolboxes you want, or take the full set.
5. Let the install run, it is a large package and takes a while on any disk.
6. Launch once, confirm the workspace opens, then reconnect the network.

System requirements

Things worth knowing

• The full toolbox set is large, deselect the domains you do not need to save a lot of disk space.
• Block the application in your firewall if you do not want it checking a licence state online.
• Simulink pulls in its own component set, expect a longer install if you keep it selected.
