About this release
Enscape is a plug-in rather than a separate application, and that is the whole design. It installs into the modelling application you already use and opens a rendering window beside it. Move a wall, change a material, adjust a light, and the render updates as you work rather than after an export and a wait.
That immediacy changes how visualisation fits into design. Instead of rendering at the end to present a decision already made, the render is open during the work, so material and lighting choices get made while they can still change cheaply. For client meetings, the same window becomes a live walkthrough where questions get answered by moving the camera rather than promising another render.
This package covers the plug-in set for the supported host applications, so the same installer serves whichever modeller a practice standardised on. The asset library adds vegetation, furniture, people and accessories placed directly into the host model, and output covers stills, animations along a path, panoramas and a standalone executable that lets a client explore a scene without any software installed.

- Daylight simulation with geographic sun positioning and sky models
- Video output along camera paths with keyframed settings
- Panorama output at high resolution for viewer based presentation

Changes in this version
- Improved interior lighting quality with faster convergence
- New asset categories added to the bundled library
- Better handling of very large host models
- Reworked material editor with live previews
- Faster panorama rendering at the highest quality setting
What the package contains
- Chaos Enscape offline installer covering all host plug-ins
- Complete bundled asset library
- Material preset library
- Standalone export components
- Readme with the install order written out step by step
Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.
- Install and launch your host modelling application at least once first.
- Disconnect from the network.
- Extract to a short path.
- Run setup as administrator and select which host plug-ins to install.
- Apply the included licensing step before opening the host application.
- Open the host application and confirm the toolbar appears.
System requirements
| Operating system | Windows 10 version 22H2 or Windows 11, 64-bit |
| Processor | Intel or AMD 64-bit multi core |
| Memory | 16 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended |
| Graphics | GPU with 8 GB VRAM and ray tracing support recommended |
| Storage | 20 GB free including the asset library |
| Display | 1920 by 1080 minimum |
Things worth knowing
- The host application has to be installed first or the plug-in has nothing to attach to.
- A ray tracing capable card makes a large difference here, more than in most rendering tools.
- Standalone exports are large files, but they need nothing installed on the machine that opens them.

What people are saying
Client meeting with the render window open. Answered every question by moving the camera. Sold the scheme.
Host application first, then the plug-in. Installed in the wrong order and had to redo it.
Interior convergence is quicker on this build than the last one.
