About this release
Magic Bullet is a suite of plugins for making footage look graded and cinematic without sitting at a full colour finishing desk. The centrepiece is Looks, a self contained grading environment that runs inside your editor or compositor and stacks camera style tools, lens effects, filters and colour adjustments into a single look you can build, save and reapply.
The rest of the suite fills in the tasks a grade usually needs alongside it. Denoiser cleans up grain and sensor noise while keeping detail, the skin tone and cosmetic tools handle talent without a separate beauty pass, and the film emulation brings the colour response and texture of stock film to a digital clip. Everything is designed to be fast and preset driven rather than exhaustive.
It is a plugin suite, so it installs into the host applications on the machine and appears in their effect lists. That makes it a natural fit for an editor who wants a strong look quickly rather than the control of a dedicated colour application, and the presets give a defensible starting point that you then push to taste.

Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.

- Extract the archive to a short path such as C:\Setup.
- Run the installer and select which hosts to install into.
- Apply the included licensing step before launching a host.
- Open a host and find the tools in its effect list.

Things worth knowing
- It is a plugin suite, it needs a supported host application to load into.
- Build a look once and save it, reapplying a saved look across a series keeps the grade consistent.
- Denoiser is GPU heavy, run it on an adjustment layer over a range rather than every clip if the card is weak.

What people are saying
Looks gets me a strong grade in the edit without opening a colour app. Presets are a good starting point.
Denoiser saved a whole low light interview. Kept the detail, killed the noise.
Save your look and reapply it across the series. Consistency for free.
