About this release
Perfectly Clear exists for the photographers who shoot in volume and cannot afford to edit every frame individually. School photography, event work, real estate, catalogue shoots and anything else where the deliverable is thousands of images rather than dozens. The engine looks at each image on its own terms, works out what is wrong with the exposure, the contrast, the colour balance and the tint, and corrects it, rather than applying the same fixed adjustment to everything.
The portrait tools are the part that sells it. Face detection drives skin smoothing that keeps texture instead of turning people into plastic, blemish removal, eye enhancement and catchlight recovery, teeth and shine correction, and a subtle facial contouring pass. Each is a separate correction with its own strength control, so you can dial in a house style once, save it as a preset, and have every job come back looking the way your work is supposed to look.
It runs both ways, as a standalone workbench for processing folders and as a plug-in inside the main editing and catalogue applications. The batch mode takes a folder of raw or rendered files, applies a preset, and writes the output set with whatever naming, sizing and format you specify. Presets can be built by correcting a reference image and saving the result, and a preview grid lets you check a sample across a whole shoot before committing to processing the lot.

Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.
- Close any editing or catalogue application before you begin.
- Disconnect from the network.
- Extract the archive to a short path such as C:\Setup.
- Run setup as administrator and select the plug-in hosts you want it registered with.
- Let the install finish, then launch the standalone application once.
- Close it and reconnect to the network.

Things worth knowing
- Build your preset on a reference image from the shoot rather than on a factory example, the results are far more consistent.
- Check a preview grid across a sample before committing a batch, a bad preset applied to four thousand files is a long afternoon.
- Skin corrections are strength controlled for a reason, the defaults are stronger than most professional work wants.
