About this release
Stellar Data Recovery is the tool you reach for after the recycle bin has been emptied or a drive has been formatted. It reads the disk at a low level, reconstructs the file table where it can, and where it cannot it falls back to carving files out of the raw data by their signatures. That two stage approach is why it recovers things a simple undelete tool gives up on.
The build here carries the whole edition range in one package. The Professional level covers deleted files, emptied bins, formatted volumes and lost partitions. Premium adds photo and video repair for files that come back corrupted. Technician handles RAID reconstruction and building recovery images from a failing drive so you work from a copy rather than stressing the original hardware.
The workflow is built to be safe. You pick what to look for and where, run a quick scan first and a deep scan if that comes up short, preview the found files before committing, and recover to a different drive so nothing overwrites what you are trying to save. A scan can be saved and resumed, which matters on a large disk that takes hours to read.

Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.
- Install this onto a different drive from the one you want to recover.
- Disconnect from the network before you begin.
- Extract the archive to any folder you like.
- Run the installer as administrator and finish the wizard.
- Launch once and select the edition features you need.
- Reconnect to the network.

Things worth knowing
- Never recover files back onto the same drive you are scanning, it can overwrite the very data you want.
- The sooner you scan after a deletion the better, continued use of the drive lowers the odds.
- A physically failing drive should be imaged first, then recovered from the image to spare the hardware.
