About this release
MiniTool Power Data Recovery is a recovery tool built to cover the range from a home user who deleted a folder to a technician recovering a client's failing disk. It reads a drive at a low level, rebuilds the file listing where it can, and carves files out by signature where the listing is gone, so it recovers from deletion, formatting and partition loss alike.
The Business editions are the reason it appears on a technician's toolkit. The tiers run from Standard through Deluxe and Enterprise up to Technician, which carries the licensing to use it on client machines, and every level can build bootable media so a machine that will not start, or a system drive that cannot be scanned safely while running, is recovered from outside Windows entirely.
The workflow is designed to be safe and clear. You choose a scan target, a specific drive, a lost partition or a whole disk, run it, preview what came back before committing, filter the results by type to find what you need in a long list, and recover to a different drive so nothing is overwritten. Scans can be saved and resumed. The build here is the full Business package with every edition tier and bootable media unlocked.

Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.
- Install this onto a different drive from the one you want to recover.
- Disconnect from the network before you begin.
- Extract the archive to any folder you like.
- Run the installer as administrator and complete the wizard.
- Apply the included activation step, then build the bootable media if you need it.
- Launch once, then reconnect to the network.

Things worth knowing
- Never recover files back onto the drive you are scanning, it can overwrite the data you are trying to save.
- For a system drive or a failing disk, recover from the bootable media rather than inside the running Windows.
- The sooner you scan after a loss the better, continued writes to the drive lower the odds.
