About this release
Partition Wizard does the disk surgery that Windows own tools either refuse or make painful. Resizing a partition without losing what is on it, moving one along the disk to make room, merging two into one, splitting one into two, and converting between partition schemes and file systems are all handled through a preview then apply model, so you see the planned layout before anything is committed.
The feature most people install it for is migration. It moves an entire Windows installation to a new drive, typically an old mechanical disk to a new SSD, and keeps it bootable, so a machine gets faster without the day long ritual of a clean reinstall and reconfiguration. It copies whole disks as well, for cloning a drive before it fails or duplicating a known good setup.
The Pro Ultimate tier includes the parts that turn it from a resizer into a rescue tool. Bootable media that runs the whole application outside Windows for operating on the system partition or a machine that will not boot, partition recovery for a table that has been damaged or a partition deleted by accident, and a surface test and alignment check for keeping a drive healthy and fast.

Installation notes
Follow these in order. Most reports of a failed install come from skipping a step rather than from the package itself.
- Extract the archive to any folder.
- Run the installer and decline any bundled extras it offers.
- Apply the included licensing step so the Pro Ultimate tier activates.
- Open the application and confirm the licensed state.
- Build the bootable media if you plan to operate on the system partition.
- Preview any change before applying, and back up first.

Things worth knowing
- Back up before any partition operation, the preview reduces the risk but a power loss mid apply is still a power loss.
- Operate on the system partition from the bootable media, not from inside the running Windows, it is safer and faster.
- Confirm the target SSD is aligned after a migration, the tool checks it and misalignment costs speed.
